All Amish Stores are Closed on Thursdays, Sundays, Good Friday, Ascension Day, and Christmas.
And please do not take pictures of the Amish,   It is against there religion.

Farmers' Market: A complete market of both Amish and English farm goods. Starting  the last Saturday in May and ending 3rd Sat. in October, 

Feb 17: Winter Festival Hometown hospitality in every store, refreshments and drawings.

March 24:  Spring  Merchants OPEN HOUSE  9 AM till 5 PM

April 14:   City Wide Garage Sales  all over town (get map)
                          
May 11, 12,13:   May Days Festival -- Flea Market in the Festival Park (Fri. Sat. Sun.).  Craft Show in both schools (Saturday only) and in the Festival Park Theater Building (Fri. Sat. Sun).  Car Show downtown (Sat only).    Unless otherwise stated, most all other activities open by 9AM

May 28:  Memorial Day...Most stores OPEN

June 9:  200 mile garage sale on Highway 6  St. Joseph, MO to the Missouri River

July 4:  Independence Day Most stores OPEN

July 5,6  Annual Graber (Amish) Consignment Auction 

July 26,27,28,: Flea Market-Festival Park (28 & 29).   Junior Livestock Show in the Arena (27,28,29)

September 3:  Labor Day Most stores OPEN

September 22:   Heritage Day -- Lost Art and Skills Demonstrations

October 6:  Amish  Country Quilt Auction an Show in Festival Park Theater Building

November 3: Holiday Open House

November 23 & 24:  Step Back In Time Christmas Festival,  Craft Show and Cookie Walk
